Amy Hagerman

Amy and her husband, Layne, are originally from Lansing, Michigan, and have lived for about 15 years in the Kalamazoo area. They were called to Manistee in 2020 with their three children and have been eagerly planting roots ever since. Amy met the Lord at the age of 4 and recommitted her life to Him in her early 20s. Throughout most of her childhood and into adulthood, she attended the non-denominational Trinity Church in Lansing, where she and Layne were married about 20 years ago. Amy has been part of the worship team and kids ministry for various churches, including Trinity, Christ's Church in Jacksonville, FL, First Wes in Battle Creek, and Radiant in Richland. In her teen years she spent time in the mission field of Ghana and the Ivory Coast, Africa. She holds a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity which she currently uses in full-time employment. Amy now views her workplace and community as her mission field. Along with singing, she enjoys reading, learning new things, spending time with her family, listening to podcasts, beekeeping, and playing board games and cards.
